Katherine Jean Bolduan, also known by her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan contributed to CNN's coverage on both the presidential and 2012 elections. Bolduan has also been a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan, as part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress events including negotiations to raise the limit on federal loans and the Super Committee deliberations. Bolduan has also worked as an assignment reporter covering general stories such as that of the Christmas Day bombing attempt the important Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government's stimulus plan in 2009. The journalist was hired by CNN in 2007 as a national reporter in CNN Newsource.
