After that, I get the idea of a song's whole concept inside my head and start writing. My guitar is on the back of my porch and I just let my thoughts flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than 30 minutes. Niykee is continuing to improve her talents as a writer and lyrics writer. She notes how the trauma she endured during her childhood has served as an infinite source of unique ideas. Niykee says that, even when she's not composing about things that were actually taking place the pain through her childhood and grief over the loss of her daughter finds it's way into her music. The music I write is shaped by it and I feel the deeper meaning underneath all of it. This is one of the aspects that are most important for me.
