Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her main work involves involved in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's Father is a Lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is who resides in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah was born in Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was a the classical piano at eighteen, was called being a "geek" and wanted to be a psychiatric nurse until the 12th grade exam. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. In her college she was also an actor and appeared in stage productions that were put on through The Madras Players. Andrea served as President of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the brand new Leo Coffee advert included Shiva. She has also acted in a TV serial that was telecast on Podhigai. She has performed in a variety of roles across India. She was in a short role at the end of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham A. Menon invited her after she performed a number in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as the lead female character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea won the role of Kalyani when Simran Shobana Tabu and other actors were approached. The film came out in the early 2010s. In 2011, she agreed to play a minor supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which premiered in August of 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic movie in 2013.
