Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. As an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast to achieve four golds in the same Games during the 2016 Olympics. Biles is also the first to hold three consecutive world championships. Biles along with their younger sibling Adria was adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first able to show an interest in gymnastics when she was an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the following eleven years. Biles won a gold medal for vault and also a medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began competing in elite levels of the sport. Within less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles was notable for her consistently high performance and exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed across each of the four events such as vaulting, uneven bars and the balance beam.
